Search View

The search view allows to search the box, in particular the keywords. When the search view is selected and no search is specified, all slips in the box are displayed.

Search terms are entered in the fields of the predicate editor at the top. Search terms can be added by clicking the "+" buttons on the right and removed by clicking the "-" button. There are search options for: keyword, source, type, title, text, flagged, slip ID, slip author, creation date and modification date. The textual fields (like keyword or source) can be searched with the following options:

Three top level operators can be used to group the search predicates:

All searches are case insensitive.

Searches can be saved using the inspector.

The list below the predicate editor displays slips that match the search. A single click changes the current slip and shows the text and the source of this slip in the bottom half. A double click changes to the slip view, where this slip is displayed in full and can be edited.

The left column indicates whether a slip is flagged, and clicking on a cell toggles the flagged status. Whether the title column is displayed can be specified in the preferences.

The information in the bottom bar indicates how many search results were returned, which one was selected last and how many results are selected.

Double-clicking a keyword in the inspector's keyword list adds the keyword to the search. An option in the allows to change this behaviour to starting a completely new search on a double-click.
