SlipBox adds two services to the Services menu.
This first service is called "Make New Slip". This function makes it possible to create new slips from within other programs. Selected content appears in the text field of the new slip when this function is executed. This can be done via the associated keyboard shortcut. This function also allows to create a new slip with the content of files, most notably text and image files. (Only the most common file types are currently supported. Email me if you require additional file types.) For this, select a file in the Finder and use this Service.
The second service is called "Search Box". It initiates a keyword search of the currently active slip-box.
If SlipBox is not running when a service is called, it is launched and the default box is opened.
The keyboard shortcuts for the services can be changed. This is useful if the default shortcut is already assigned otherwise. These are the steps to change a shortcut.
